Spring is a wonderful time of year in Nebraska. It is great to be out and about. Maybe it is time to go for a ride.

Along the highways of Nebraska you can see historical sites, visit museums, enjoy the outdoors along the beautiful scenic drives, visit the lake, do a little boating or fishing or check out the hike and bike trails . . . and find a bargain or two along the way.

A seven-county area of Nebraska's Frontier Trails Region is organizing a three-day event to promote our towns, our businesses and our people. We have named this event Bargains on Byways. There will be open stores, garage and yard sales, antiques to be found, . . . and a bargain or two along the way.

The Bargains on Byways Vendor Guide details all participating towns. Vendor sites are mapped and listed within each town. Each vendor listing provides a brief description of their treasures and the times they will be open . . . to assist you as you plan your route for each day.
