Spring is a wonderful time of year, especially in Nebraska. It is a time to be out and about. Did you hear someone say, 'road trip'? Along the highways of Nebraska you can see historical sites, visit museums, enjoy the outdoors along the beautiful scenic drives, visit the lake, do a little boating or fishing or check out the hike and bike trails . . . and find a bargain or two along the way. A six-county area of Nebraska's Frontier Trails Region is organizing our Fourth Annual Bargains on Byways, a three-day event to promote our towns, our businesses and our people. There will be open stores, garage and yard sales, antiques to be found, . . . and a bargain or two along the way. We look forward to seeing you this June along our Bargains trail.
